Story- The House Next Door

There is a big neighborhood in which lived this girl, her name was Emily. Emily wasn't the typical girl that you imagine in every story, blonde, arrogant, with the ego in the sky. She was brunette, tall, really humble, didn't like to brag but she was truly popular at her school and town, almost everybody knew her.

Emily did all sorts of things, she played at the basketball team, she was the student body president, had good grades etc. Emily only hang out with her really good friends: Tina, Katherine and Oswald.

They have known each other since they were little kids from kindergarten. This group of kids always had each other's back no matter what happened, the sticked together. Emily's parents were always traveling outside of the country for working purposes, so she was most of the time home alone, but Emily was a really responsible girl and her parents truly trusted her.
One day, when Emily was going back home from basketball practice, she returned really late because she wanted to practice a lot more, cause the next day she had a tournament. She did her normal routine, prepare her meal, have a hot bath to relax the muscles so she won't be that tense the next day for the match. She was normally reading a Harry Potter book when she heard a weird noise from down stairs. She immediately got scared and freaky, she went to the stairs, and in slow motion went down, when she was half way through, Emily saw a man's shadow, she was stunned and her first reaction was to run upstairs and hide under her bed. Afterward the grinding of the stairs was heard, the man went to the 2 floor. He went through every room, emily's was the only left; First he checked the closets and the bathroom, we wondered where she was, he was getting out of the room because he surrendered, but what happened next was really sad, Emily sneezed, he went back again and found her and took her away.
The next day at school, her friends wondered why emily didn't went to school, she didn't respond their phone calls or the texts. It seemed really weird, because she was very responsible and always attended school, even when she was sick. So, when school was over they decided to go to Emily's house, they searched from bottom to top, but they couldn't find their friend.
Oswald had the great idea to separate and ask in every house in the neighbourhood if someone had seen emily, but it was in vain because they got no answer at all. There was just one house left to check on, it was a abandoned house next door.
They went in and checked every room but there was only one left, "The Basement". They were really scared to go there because it had no light in it, as no one lived there, so tina turned her phone flashlight on, and when there were there the found a man staring at their friend emily which was hanged on the ceiling with a rope.
